I am intrigued by the story of Frankenstein because it is not even really a scary story. I don't think anyone feels fear for the townspeople when they watch this. The monster's tragic existence is even more highlighted in this sequel than the original, which I think makes it better. It's wild that the bride is so infamous, and has barely any screen time.
I totally agree. Every time I watch this I forget that The Bride is only in this movie for like the last 10 minutes. And I also forgot that Young Frankenstein almost parodies this movie more that the original.
