I had never seen this. There are sooooo many things Quentin used from this movie - the yellow suits, the somewhat goofy bad guy with the whackado changeable hand weapons, the close ups, etc. Very entertaining. Did you know this movie came out the same year as Bruce's death?! WHAT!?
I also noticed so many movements Bruce Lee did that were PRECISELY recreated movements by Keanu in The Matrix. You could tell he studied and mimicked this movie for Neo.
OMG. I had a dream last night that Quentin called me because I was supposed to start working on a set for him for an upcoming project; he asked if I was still employed by LNS and how many hours a week could I devote to him and his project considering I was employed AND had a dog. I told him I could commit to at least 12 hours a day for his movie (lol wtf), and he told me it wasn't gonna work and he hung up on me and I cried.
Anyway--super loved this movie, the mirror room gave me anxiety, but so do most things. Also I've officially lived longer than Bruce as of May of 2020. So sad. --Shandi
